In this exhibition, designer Mauricio Carneiro and artist Beo da Silva, the Brazilians creators of the physical theatre piece “We –Waste Project” , bring to attention of the public the process of creating finished costumes, sets and props, in the context of this show.

The exhibition itself consists in creating an environment of a “We-Waste Room”, presented as visual and sound installation.

Positioned in the centre of the room, our costume/ prop construction forms the main feature of the exhibition. It is our main characters “protective shelter” and where our performance takes place.

The We Waste Project is an innovative physical theatre piece that brings to attention evidence of facts about waste.

We start our show by introducing a new version of society, the survivors of an immense landfill site.

Our fictional “Waste’R’us Society” is formed by those excluded from the mainstream of modern life, they have evolved within The We Waste Society.

It feels like a Garbage today!
